Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Welcome to Voyeur. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of bonvoyeur.net and the Voyeur mobile app (together, "the Service"), operated by Closet Crush LLC, doing business as Voyeur ("Voyeur," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Please read these Terms carefully before using Voyeur. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Voyeur, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Voyeur. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Not create more than one account or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion.

4. The Service

Voyeur is a digital closet management platform that allows you to:

  • Catalog and organize your clothing items with photos, details, and categories
  • Create outfits, log what you wear, and track wear patterns
  • Rank outfits through head-to-head comparisons and view scores
  • Generate studio-style product photos of your items and images of items modeled on you ("Studio Photos" and "Model It")
  • Import clothing items from forwarded email purchase receipts, product links, and browser tools
  • Plan outfits on a calendar and auto-log wears for past planned days
  • Plan packing lists for trips
  • Organize items into custom collections
  • Share your closet publicly or with followers via social profiles

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

5. User Content

"User Content" refers to any content you upload, submit, or share through the Service, including photos, item descriptions, outfit photos, profile information, comments, and messages.

Ownership. You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading content to Voyeur, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where your content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.

Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to share the content you upload, and that your content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

Moderation. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any User Content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

6. Studio Photos & Generated Images

The Service includes features that generate new images from photos you provide, including Studio Photos (catalog-style product images of your items) and Model It (images of an item modeled on you, based on a reference photo you select) (together, "Generated Images"). The following terms apply:

  • Your photos, your rights. You may only use these features with photos you have the right to use. For Model It, you may only provide reference photos of yourself, or of another person who has given you their consent to use their likeness this way.
  • Consent to processing. By using Model It, you consent to your reference photo being processed to generate images of you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Generated Images are synthetic. They are computer-generated interpretations, not photographs. They may contain inaccuracies and may not faithfully represent an item's true color, texture, fit, or how it will actually look on you. Do not rely on them for purchase or fit decisions.
  • Ownership and responsibility. Generated Images created from your content are treated as your User Content under Section 5. You are responsible for how you use and share them.
  • Prohibited uses. You may not use these features to create images of another person without their consent, or to create content that is deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise violates Section 7.
  • Generation limits. The number of Generated Images available to you depends on your plan (see Section 9). Limits, features, and availability may change, and we may throttle or suspend access to prevent abuse.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following while using Voyeur:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or these Terms
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Upload images of other people without their consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or other deceptive practices
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use image-generation features to create images of another person without their consent, or to create deceptive or unlawful content
  • Manipulate the referral program (e.g., self-referrals or fake accounts) to earn credits
  • Circumvent or manipulate any security features or access controls

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Closet Crush LLC (d/b/a Voyeur) and protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

The Voyeur name, logo, tagline, and other branding elements are the proprietary property of Closet Crush LLC. You may not use these materials without our prior written consent.

DMCA & Infringement Reports

Voyeur respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). If you believe that content on Voyeur infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may submit a notice to our designated agent at legal@bonvoyeur.net.

To be effective, your notice should include: (a) your name and contact information; (b) a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed; (c) a link or other information reasonably sufficient to locate the allegedly infringing content; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. For DMCA notices, please see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) for the statutory requirements.

If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notice to the same address. After we receive a valid counter notice, we will forward it to the original complaining party, and the removed material may be restored 10–14 business days later unless the copyright owner files a court action.

In accordance with the DMCA, Voyeur has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

9. Memberships & Payments

Voyeur offers a free tier and a paid membership tier ("Front Row"), billed monthly or annually, as well as one-time passes (e.g., the Closet Glow-Up pass). Paid plans provide expanded limits — including Studio Photo and Model It generation quotas, unlimited calendar planning, expanded analytics, and unlimited packing lists. Core features — including your closet, outfits, wear tracking, and social — remain free. Current pricing and plan details are shown at bonvoyeur.net/membership.

  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details. Your payment information is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renew automatically until canceled.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the membership page (via the billing portal); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. One-time passes are not subscriptions and do not renew.
  • Generation quotas. Monthly plan quotas reset each calendar month and unused amounts do not roll over; annual plan quotas are pooled over the subscription year; the Closet Glow-Up pass expires 90 days after purchase.
  • Price changes. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
  • Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are otherwise handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

Referral Credits

Free accounts can earn invite credits by referring new users, and spend credits to permanently unlock certain features. Credits have no cash or monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed or exchanged. Credits are awarded only for genuine new signups; we may withhold or revoke credits and unlocks obtained through self-referral, fake accounts, or other abuse. We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@bonvoyeur.net.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your conduct may harm Voyeur, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may delete your data after account termination.

Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and disputes shall survive any termination of these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of any content, automatically extracted data, Generated Images, or other features provided through the Service.

Automated features (receipt parsing, product-page extraction, and image generation such as Studio Photos and Model It) are provided for informational, organizational, and entertainment purposes only. Generated Images are synthetic and may not accurately represent an item or how it looks on you; they should not be solely relied upon for purchasing, styling, or wardrobe decisions.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOYEUR (CLOSET CRUSH LLC) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VOYEUR IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Voyeur and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the Service; your User Content; your use or distribution of Generated Images; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any rights of another person or entity, including another person's privacy, publicity, or likeness rights.

14. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at hello@bonvoyeur.net and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve any dispute within 30 days of receiving your notice.

Binding Individual Arbitration. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, you and Voyeur agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in New York, New York, or at another mutually agreed location. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Small Claims Court Exception.Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court in New York, New York, if the claim falls within the court's jurisdictional limits.

Class Action and Jury Waiver. You and Voyeur agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or class-wide arbitration. You also waive any right to a jury trial.

Governing Law. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions. For any claims not subject to arbitration, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.

Time Limit for Claims. To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to the Service must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or it will be permanently barred.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at bonvoyeur.net/terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you via email or through the Service. Your continued use of Voyeur after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

16. Miscellaneous

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Voyeur regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any of your rights or obligations without prior written consent from Voyeur. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.

Waiver. The failure of Voyeur to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Voyeur.

Interpretation.Section titles are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. In these Terms, the words "including" and "include" mean "including without limitation."
